Currently building Timeless

I build games, tools and simulators!

Roguelikes, physics simulations, neural evolution, and whatever else I get curious about at 2am. Self-taught since 2023. All of it gets written about here. WELCOME FRIENDS, LET’S GET CURIOUS!

Timeless

A twin-stick roguelike where the clock is the health bar. You do not lose hit points — you lose time. Custom engine, custom room editor, 43,000 lines, and three bosses who each break a rule the game spent an hour teaching you. I’ll be honest, I should have made this game in a known engine (Unity, Godot, etc), but it was far too late and I’ve learned more than I could ever dream. This game is still being worked on by me and my talented, amazing girlfriend. She hand drew all of the art in the game. Yes, that’s why it looks so good.

Emergent Evolver

Have you ever been interested in machine learning, anatomy, or evolution? Well, Emergent Evolver explores emergent complexity with machine learning. You draw a creature’s body. You do not tell it how to move. A neural network starts from noise, grows its own neurons as it learns, and after a few hundred generations something runs — and you can watch the brain wire itself while it happens. Play with the physics, evolution, and body settings to see what you can dream up and create!

Wheelhouse

OK guys, we all have games but no games, am I right? Well… Game night, solved! Wheelhouse reads your real Steam Family ownership and only puts games on the wheel that your whole party can actually launch — so a spin never lands on something one person owns. Have a party of 5? Set the wheel to five players and the program will sift through all the games you and your Steam family CAN play together!
